*UPDATE ON JANUARY CONNECTIONS*

We have moved the January connections (originally scheduled for Jan 18th) to the end of this week, approximately 23rd–24th January.

We will confirm the exact date and time as soon as we have full confirmationf from the developers.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please ignore the "17th Feb" date in your app. We are currently fixing the back-end glitch that caused the opt out error on this weekends connections, the date will update automatically once the fix is live.

What happened?
We’ve decided to simplify things for this round by temporarily removing the Availability Logic (the calendar slots), as this is where the glitch occurred.

What this means for you:
* You do not need to re-fill your calendar for this round.

We will match you based on your Location, Feral Scale, and Interests to get you connected this month whilst we test and fix the availability element
Calendar slots will be re-introduced in future rounds once the logic is 100% stable.

Your Next Steps:

Download the App: If you haven’t yet!
Complete Your Profile: Make sure your bio and location are set. You must have a completed profile to be included in this weekend’s matches.
Turn on Notifications: Ensure notifications are enabled in your app & phone settings so you get any updates and a notification when connections go live!
Enable Automatic Updates: Ensure "Automatic Updates" are ON in your App Store. This ensures you always have the latest version of Grounded without having to manually download it.

Hiya ,

We promised you a 'messy yet exciting' Beta Testing phase of the app, and the 'messy' part just arrived!

It looks like the system triggered our connections early, and in the process, it incorrectly marked everyone as 'opted out.'

The Honest Update: I am many things, but a tech wiz behind the code and systems is not one of them!

Our development team is currently offline for the night, so we won't be able to reset the system and re-run the connections until they are back at their desks tomorrow morning.

What this means for you:

Don't Panic: You haven't missed out. No one has been skipped!

Keep Going: Please continue to set up your profiles, rate yourself on the feral scale, and set your availability.

We Will Re-Run: Once the team is back online, I will be hopping straight into calls with them to find out exactly what happened and re-schedule the connections correctly.

I will send another update the second I have a confirmed time for the connections to go live.

Thank you for being so incredibly patient, This is exactly why we are in a 'testing' stage to catch these glitches before we open the doors fully.

If you’re getting an 'Inactive Member' error and using a +44 code, ensure there is no '0' at the start of your number. If it still fails, we likely have a typo in your number, email us and we’ll fix it ASAP!
Not receiving an OTP?
🔑 We’ve created a temporary Master Key. Use code 1234 to bypass the OTP and jump straight in (this will only work for numbers we have on file don’t worry!)
Set your availability:
To be matched, you MUST toggle ‘Join next cycle of connections’ and set your availability. Note: If your availability, travel radius or range of activities is very narrow it will reduce your chance of a connection!
Location Privacy:
Your location is never shared with connections; it’s only for mapping. Feel free to use a nearby town centre if that feels better (we will be editing in app text to clarify this!)

✨ Coming Soon... We’ve submitted a new update to the stores (waiting for approval!) that will allow you to remove availability this should be live within an hour or two 🤞
